Looking to kick your feet up? At Black Fox Construction, we believe that one of the best ways to build a beautiful, unique home is to work with the supposed limitations of your property. In this case we ordered up a basement bar just the way we like it- on the rocks.
This particular cottage is nestled into a lot just in front of a rocky outcrop. We chose to embrace that challenge, and with minimal sculpting we were able to transform the massive rock slabs into a rugged backdrop for the cottage’s basement scotch bar.
Now tucked in beside the home theatre (and with the help of some tasteful lighting), this rocky grotto went from an expensive, engineering head-scratcher to one of this cabin’s most beautiful and unique features.
