The Beach House Style on Longbow Lake

In honour of our newest build on Longbow Lake, we're looking at an increasingly popular style of cabin construction and design: the light, airy, and low key Beach House style.

A beach house style combines the amenities of a modern cabin with a sheen of antique style. Vaulted ceilings, ship lap, and proximity to the water are all things that will make your lakeside retreat feel even more like a summery sanctuary.

In the Longbow Lake house for example, the shiplap and wooden accents are found throughout it's three floors and master suite that stretches over 700 sq ft.

While the appearance of a beach house is meant to evoke a classic, almost antique charm, that doesn't mean they need to want for modern amenities. This property, for example, includes three propane fireplaces, 3 bathrooms that include a soaker and a whirlpool tub along with three showers. The lower floor has a recreation area designed for a pool table with a wet bar and a TV/fireplace area.
