Whether it's big or small, there's no limit to the style in which your cabin is built. One of our personal favorites is the low key, but still luxurious, beach house style.

Light and airy by definition, a beach house style combines the amenities of a modern cabin with a sheen of antique style. Vaulted ceilings, ship lap, and proximity to the water are all things that will make your lakeside retreat feel even more like a summery sanctuary.

Creating that beachy feel is as much in the little details as it is in the architecture. The use of Edison bulbs (above) and antique style sinks and subway tile (both below) will lend a feeling of style timelessness without effecting functionality.
