Few things impact the warmth and personality of a cabin like great lighting. When it came to lighting up the Bigger, Brighter Cabin, we knew we needed a few fixtures that stood up the name.
In the Bigger, Brighter Cabin, the scale of the great room's open concept and vaulted ceilings are highlighted by the massive central fixture that illuminates the entire space.
That mantra even carried over to some of the (relatively) smaller fixtures in the room. The dining table fixture, for example, descends all the way down from the vaulted ceiling above.
The same warm, rich colors of the main fixtures can be seen in the sconce-style lights in the home as well, lending a feeling of continuity throughout the 5,000+ square feet of the cabin.

At the lake, there's nothing better than taking in a beautiful, sweeping view. However, it's often the case that a bigger view of the lake means you're that much further from the water.
As we've discussed before, any little, unforeseen eccentricities in your cabin plan are forgivable as long as you nail down all the cottage essentials. Chief among those is making sure that you have a beautiful view.
The weather may not have totally been on our side in the first few weeks of June, but our crew is still soldiering forward on the beautiful Island Addition project on Lake of the Woods.
