CABIN FOR SALE: Beach House Ready For Summer!

Summer weather has arrived in the Lake of the Woods area, and with it, cabin season is in full swing. Come check out this magnificent beach house on Longbow Beach while there's still time to make it into your dream vacation property for summer 2019!

Black Fox Classics: Hosting Hacks

With lake season around the corner, so is the busiest time of the year for hosting friends and family at the cabin. There are many ways to accommodate last-minute overnighters, but these are a few of our favourites.

Black Fox Classics: Spring Landscaping

It's getting warmer on Lake of the Woods, and soon it'll be time to leave the indoors behind. When you do, it's essential to make sure your lot is primed to be your new favorite hangout spot. One affordable (and indispensable) addition to any Lake of the Woods home is a dead simple lakeside fire pit.

For your dollar, a fire pit may be one of the best investments you can make in your cabin. With a little bit of landscaping work, you can transform an empty corner of your lot into one of the most popular spots on your property.

This particular fire pit also works double duty, turning some uneven terrain into a landing on the way down to the waterline. This formerly ignored patch of land is now the perfect place to hang out by the fire with a drink and take in the lake.
